Youth Group Devotionals
On Sunday evenings, we meet together in groups for food, fellowship, and praise to God. We typically meet in homes of various members, so check the bulletin for the latest location. There are different types of devotionals depending on the season. Unless otherwise directed, you should bring $3, and your Bible to the devo. During the summer, devos will run from after church (7:15ish) to 9:30pm. During the school year, the devos are done by 9:00pm.Split Devotionals
- Guys/Girls - From time to time, we divide the group by gender. We do this to help our young men have opportunities to sharpen one another and to give our young ladies opportunities to lead singing, prayer and devotionals.
- Junior/Senior High - At other times, we divide the group by age. We do this to encourage leadership in our younger teens while also giving our older teens the opportunity to evaluate their positions of leadership and mentoring.
Combination Devotionals
These devotionals are for everyone. It’s a great time to get together. Depending on the Sunday, there will be anywhere from 40-70 teens at these events. These are great events to bring your friends to as well.
Transportation
So you need a ride, eh? Well, you’re in luck. Northside has full size vans. However, due to the size of our group, space is very limited. A van sign up list will be passed in class and posted on the day of the devotional. There are only 20 spots available. If you sign up, and don’t show up, your van riding privileges can be limited in the future. If you show up without signing up, we will likely not have any room. So, plan on finding your own ride, if you don’t sign up.
