Youth Group Area-wide Events

The church is much larger than the walls of 4545 N. Meridian.  Each year, there are events where you can go and meet other Christians your age from all around the area.   Here are three we typically attend. 

Silver Maple Camp (SMC)

This camp is open for 3 weeks in July just south of Kingman, Kansas.  Several hundred teens gather over one week-long sessions for classes, devotionals, sports, worship, and fellowship.  For more information, check out www.silvermaplecamp.com.

Kansas Youth Festival (KYF)

In late November or early December, teens and adults from all over the state of Kansas gather together for a weekend of classes, singing, speakers and fellowship.  The cost for the weekend is $50.

Summer Youth Series

The area churches meet together 5-8 times during the summer as calendars allow. Some SYS are youth rallys. Others are fun activities like ice-skating or going to the Zoo. Others might be a service project. Each summer is different, but it's a great way to get to know some of the other teens from other churches.
