Youth Group Areawide Events

The church is much larger than the walls of 4545 N. Meridian.  Each year, there are events where you can go and meet other Christians your age from all around the area.   Here are three we typically attend. 

Areawide Lock-in

For just $10, you can have unlimited pop & pizza and then enjoy the night with 400+ people at the WSU Heskett Center.  There will be bowling, billiards, basketball, volleyball, racquetball, soccer, swimming, arcades, ping-pong, a climbing wall, and giant inflatable games (moonwalk, pedestal joust, bungee run, etc.).  This event occurs in late February or early March and typically runs from 10pm-6am.

Silver Maple Camp (SMC)

This camp is open for 3 weeks in July just south of Kingman, Kansas.  Several hundred teens gather over one week-long sessions for classes, devotionals, sports, worship, and fellowship.  For more information, check out www.silvermaplecamp.com.

Kansas Youth Festival (KYF)

In late November or early December, teens and adults from all over the state of Kansas gather together for a weekend of classes, singing, speakers and fellowship.  The cost for the weekend is $40.
