Steve Tandy - Pulpit Minister

Steve came to Northside in 1957 when his father, Louis Tandy, became the minister.  He remained at Northside until he graduated from Wichita State University with an engineering degree.  He and his wife, Cindy, then left Wichita and worked in several cities while Steve worked for General Electric Co. 

After seven years, they returned home to Northside.  Steve worked in industry and preached part time until becoming the full time pulpit minister in 1999.   Steve also directs the Know Your Bible program and conducts leadership seminars for businesses and churches. Cindy is a homemaker, teaches at Northside, and frequently speaks at women's retreats and workshops.

Steve and Cindy have two married sons and five grandchildren.  Brandon, his wife Kim, and their three children live in Redding, California.  Ryan, Jenni, and their son, Corbin and daughter, Kate attend Northside.
