"Living An Abundant Life"

Do you ever dream of living a more rewarding life? Do you wish you had a better job, a stronger marriage, a happier home? Would you like to get rid of your worries, your debts, your bad habits? Did you put some of these things on your New Year’s Resolution List, but not really expect much to be different in 2008?
John 10:10
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (KJV)
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (NIV)
My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. (NLT)
I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of. (The Message)

However you translate it or paraphrase it, Jesus evidently wants us to live an abundant life. This year at Northside, our Sunday morning series will be all about helping you realize that kind of life. Come every Sunday you possibly can – and you WILL discover how to live an abundant life – not from Dr. Phil, but from the Great Physician. Textual Study of I Corinthians

          The church in Corinth existed in a pagan, ungodly culture.  So does the church in the 21st century.  The Corinthian church had lots of problems, and we want to avoid such problems.  So, we will study Paul's letter of correction to learn how to keep from letting today's pagan culture from getting into the church.
