Sunday Sermons
sunday Morning
"Living By Faith"
Our theme for 2009 comes from Romans 1:17: “The
righteous will live by faith.” The eleventh chapter of Hebrews tells us
that ”without faith it is impossible to please God” (v6.), and then
recounts the stories of men and women who were “still living by faith
when they died.” (v13.) Faith is obviously of utmost importance and we
should all aspire to be “living by faith.” In our Sunday morning series
we will take a practical look at many aspects of faith.
Sermon series
will include:
Finding Faith
Saving Faith
Sharing Faith
Asking In Faith
Testing Faith
Sunday Evening
Moses and Me
(Knowing God Face to Face)
On Sunday nights at 6 p.m., we dig a little deeper into God’s Word.
Over the last seven years we have gone verse by verse through the 4
gospels, Acts, Romans, 1st Corinthians, Ephesians, and Philippians. This
year we will focus on a specific individual instead of a specific book.
Moses was “no ordinary child.” He demonstrated “mighty power and awesome
deeds” that “no one ever” equaled. He was the “meekest” of men, and the
man whom “the Lord knew face to face.”
To make Sunday evenings a little more “kid-friendly,” we will begin
with a special CHILDREN’S STUDY. Youngsters will learn about Moses at
their level, and families will have a lot to talk about during the week.
