Building A Sure Foundation
Our 2012 theme for Sunday mornings is BUILDING A SURE FOUNDATION. In 1939, a small group of Christians laid both a physical and a spiritual foundation for the brand new congregation in north Wichita. Over the next 82 years, Northside has grown much larger in both size and influence. As we look to the future, we will consider what has made Northside great and focus on what every member needs to do for Northside to continue as a great congregation of the Lord’s people.Sunday Evening
Understanding the Times
1 Chronicles 12:32
Sunday evenings we plan to discuss a number of very current topics from a Christian perspective. 1 Chronicles 12:32 says the people of the tribe of Issachar “understood the times and knew what Israel should do.” In our times, we may not “know what to do” about modern moral dilemmas. In fact, we may not even know “what to think” about some topics. So, at 6:00 on Sunday nights, bring your thinking cap, prepare for a little controversy, and we’ll reason together.
