Women

A diversity of ministries encourages women to study principles for daily living found in God’s Word and helps them apply those principles to their lives.  This encouragement comes in the form of group teaching times, home Bible studies, and one-on-one relationships.

Ladies' Bible Classes

On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings during the school year, in-depth Bible classes are offered to women.  Child care is provided for babies and a Mighty Oaks class is available for toddlers.

Summer Women’s Study Groups

Each summer a number of small group Bible studies are held at homes around the city for women.  These groups normally study material from best-selling Christian author, Beth Moore.

Mother/Daughter Banquet

On the Saturday before Mother’s Day each year, a wonderful banquet is held for mothers and daughters of all ages.  These banquets offer a special opportunity for women and girls to get their family together, dress up, and enjoy a delicious dinner and excellent entertainment.

Women Walking With God Conference

In April, a special conference for women is held at Northside.  Several hundred women attend to hear well-known Christian speakers from around the country.  Please visit www.womenwalkingwithgod.org for more information.

Ladies’ Day and Women’s Retreat

Every spring Northside hosts a ladies’ day and in the fall an overnight retreat is held at a nearby lodge.  Both events offer women the opportunity for spiritual growth, fellowship, and renewal.
