Nick Perez - Intern Minister

Nicholas (Nick) Perez was born on March 4, 1986 in Selma, California. He is the oldest child of Santos and Lori Perez and has two younger sisters that he is very close to. Nick’s grandparents came from Oklahoma and Texas.

Nick grew up in Clovis, California and attended the Woodward Park church of Christ. It was during his sophomore year of high school that Nick met his wife, Kim, at Yosemite Bible Camp. They dated for four years and were married while he was at preaching school in 2006.

Nick delivered his first sermon when he was twelve and developed that gift preaching in various local congregations in and around the Central Valley. Nick spent one year at the local community college and a brief professional career in furniture delivery. He moved to Lubbock, Texas, in 2005 and attended Sunset International Bible Institute (SIBI).

Following his graduation from SIBI in May, 2007, Nick and Kim moved to Wichita for a one year internship with Northside. During this short time, Nick aims to grow spiritually and develop a ministry style that is his own. Nick will also be taking online courses from Regions University working towards his Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies.  He and Kim want to prepare themselves as much as possible for ministry before heading back to California.
