Women's Classes & WOW
Enhance your personal relationship with the
Lord through contact with Him in scripture.
This summer Northside women and guests have a wonderful opportunity to
dramatically change their outlook on daily life and allow God to raise
them to a higher plane of worship and service. If you have been feeling
like you need a jumpstart on your devotional time and Bible study, here
is your chance. If you have been wanting to tap into the power of God,
nothing will bring you closer to his mighty glory than intense study of
the Word. We will offer three topics of study (two new ones) meeting in
several different homes on various nights. The books are $18 each and
can be paid for when you pick them up on the first evening of your
study. If cost is a concern, see Kimberlee Yeakley. Below are the dates,
times, locations and description of the various studies. Please sign up
at the Activities Corner. (NOTE: Start dates vary.)

When Godly People Do Ungodly Things
We see it reported in the headlines, confessed in the
pulpits, and hidden in the pews in churches around the
world. The seduction of God’s people by the deceiver is a
tale as old as the garden, but we are always surprised when
it happens. We must realize that Satan is a lion on the
prowl and we are his prey. This study examines why devoted
followers of Christ can fall into the traps of Satan. It
also warns Christians how to safeguard themselves against
Satan’s attacks and compassionately points the way back to
God for those who have been seduced by the enemy’s lies. |

Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman
This is an in-depth and very personal look at this great
story of threat and deliverance. If you've ever felt
inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that
seemed overpowering, this is the study for you. Just as it
was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today.
These lessons will peel back the layers of history and show
how very contemporary and applicable the story of Esther is
to our lives. This portion of God's Word contains treasures
to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives. |
